HAIR: STRAIGHT OR BOUNCY

Hey divas how’s everybody. What’s new?  This time the post is about hair and the desired basic style. I recently bought two hair conditioners: CREAM SILK RESHAPE VOLUME UP and CREAM SILK RESHAPE STANDOUT STRAIGHT and wow they both are super products. The packing says ‘best ever’ before the name of the conditioner and I totally agree without.

 

CREAM SILK

It is the term for precision care 2.0 technology which helps in transforming hair by targeting and correcting even the smallest imperfections.

 

CREAM SILK RESHAPE STANDOUT STRAIGHT

Now I have fairly straight hair but, who doesn’t love poker straight hair that look amazing with formals and those party one pieces and are so manageable when left open and voila, one time use of this conditioner gave me the same.

·       The packing says 4 time’s straighter hair than normal and yes it delivers what it promises.

·       Uses Ion relax technology making hair softer giving it a straighter look by smoothening hair strands and relaxing natural waves and frizz.

·       It can be used with any shampoo but I prefer it with SUNSILK DAMAGE RESTRUCTING SHAMPOO.

·       It has no adverse effects on the hair and even smells good, a lot better than expensive parlor products. 

·       The effects last a good two days.

·       Smells good

USAGE:

Slather it up on your hair (ear downwards) after usual shampooing. Thoroughly wash it with water after leaving it on for 2-3 minutes.

RESULTS:

Smooth, straight hair without heating irons and chemicals.

  COST:

    Rs.175 for a 200ml tube.

 

CREAM SILK RESHAPE VOLUME UP

Now this is another variant from the same brand and equally lovable. I have reserved it for days when my hair feel limp, or I am going to a fun outing or basically whenever I feel like some bounce in my hair.

·       The packaging on this ne also says 40% more volume than normal and honestly as a regular user I agree and have felt it.

·       Uses hydra lift technology making hair softer and more defined by adding volume to limp hair .

·       This one also smells good and can be used after any usual shampoo.

·       Feels light and the results look normal.

     USAGE:

Slather it up on your hair (ear downwards) after usual shampooing. Thoroughly wash it with water after leaving it on for 2-3 minutes.

RESULTS:

Shiny-bouncy hair without the hassle.

COST:

Rs.175 for a 200ml tube.

 

These two are absolutely fantabulous and wonderful inventions I must say.

Battling Monsoon

Hey there...I have my new post ready and I thought why not this time share some ideas and some favorites. It's monsoon again...the time of the year when as much as we love rains our skin and body begs to differ. So much humidity, climate change, dirt, pollution and so on. Everything attacks our skin in one go. So here i am sharing my own personal favorite products and tips to save you from the menace of a lethargic skin routine or the skin conditions synonymous with rains.

My favorites (from right to left)-

• My M&M hair clutcher- It is a dark black with white and golden detailing fab looking hair piece. It helps me hold my hair when i am running late or all messed up because of rain and sweat. Being so classic in color i can use it with any every outfit that i want.

•  Jergens Original Scent Body Moisturizer- Now everybody says what's the need of moisturizing when its already so humid. But, i beg to differ. Our skin needs a decent amount of moisturizing each time we bathe because soap and water strips the body of natural oils. I love Jergens as its non sticky and a bitter almond send just sends you in a tizzy and as acts as an instant wake me up for the skin. It provides with adequate moisturizing without being slimy or irritating the skin.

•  Lacto Calamine- I cannot stress enough on the importance of lacto calamine lotion during all seasons. But, during summers and monsoons it becomes my ultimate go to product. It cleanses, refreshes and even reduces pimples and acne. A MUST HAVE!

• Milk Honey Cleanser by Oriflame- Now when it comes to cremoving all the dirt and make up from the face without damaging the skin, nothing does a better job as Oriflame's Milk and Honey cleanser. Its so gentle on the skin but equally hard even on waterproof make up. Jut put some on a cotton and rub it on the face and finish with a splash of water on the face and the skin feels fresh and rejuvenated.

• Yardley Dutches- Yardley has been my fragrance I don't know since when :P I absolutely love it. Dutches particularly is very floral and fresh and just a spray is enough to make me feel good. 

•  Himalya Protective Sunscreen Lotion- Yes sunscreen is important even when its raining and you cant see the sun as the UVA and UVB rays are present and can penetrate through the clouds. I use this when i am, at home and I don't need a very high SPF.

• Body Shop Strawberry Lip Balm and NYX Pink and Purple Nail Paints-  Now if you ask me why this particular lip balm I would just say that I can almost eat it up...the sweetness...the fragrance and also the pretty red tint makes it my favorite and enough for my simple no make up look. Pink and Purple are just my general favorites to beat the weather blues. Basically, the idea is to have something to cheer you up. 

• Oxy Glow Hair Tonic- air suffer the most during weather changes and especially during rains and need special extra care. For me my Gennie in a bottle is this hair tonic which I apply the night before washing my hair and Lo, I have smooth frizz free repaired hair after a wash. Again a must :)

• Clean and Clear Morning Energy Face Wash- It has been recently launched and i have already become a fan of it. (anything to do with berries I instantly fall in love with it) The beads gently clean the pores and the fragrance makes you feel so alive and fresh. Ideal for monsoons.

• Lotus Safe Sun SPF 50 Sunscreen- My best friend, my boyfriend...this product is my everything especially when i am stepping outdoor in the sun. It provides adequate coverage and there is a visible difference in the amount of tanning that has gone and prevented just by using this. I recommend this to everyone.

•  Cream Silk Reshape Volume 4x- this voluminousness conditioner is best for monsoons when hair tend to get limp and dull. It adds shine and four times more volume than any other conditioner and can be used after any regular shampoo.

So divas, this was all about my personal favorites and my reasons to use them. And, all of these have been of amazing help to manage my skin and hair needs.

But, its not just cosmetics but also eating right and taking adequate precautions that go a long way.

Sinful indulgence: Heels

Hey all!!

Since a very long time i was looking for some formal footwear. I have plenty of blacks, greys, neon tones and other heels but, nothing seemed to go with a corporate environment. Therefore, i went shopping and as luck would be I ended up getting not just one but two super fab formal heels. One is a shade of tan and other black and both go with almost everything. What's amazing is that even after being high heeled both the pairs are extremely comfortable and pretty suitable for everyday long wear.

This is my first pair. Brownish tan in color it goes with my trousers, my dresses and even shorts...yes i paired up my formal heels with funky shorts as well :P At INR890 its a real deal.

My second fab find of the day was this classic black pair with its intricate check knit pattern. Just one look at it and in an instant i knew i had to have it. Lo, here its resting in my shoe rack after i wore and walked in them the whole day. Again, being black and so classic it goes with everything :)

 Heels just add to the personality and i just love my new pairs <3

The Balm Junkie

Its my latest haul and i am a lip junkie. I absolutely love lip balms, glosses, lipsticks, stains, liners and everything else. Labello lip balms are are the recent addition to my already crazy collection. Now one benefit of having a relative living abroad is that you can ask them to ship you your favorite products minus the shipping cost. In mu case its my dad who ships me all my favorite cosmetics from abroad. This time I pestered him for Labello flavours as i am a Labello addict. And I will explain why!

The first time I tried Labello vitamin shake I knew I was addicted. It was super smooth on my lips and kept them well hydrated for long and gave a very subtle sheer shine. I absolutely loved it. Thus, began my love affair with Labello.

This time I got my Labello day and night collection. The day collection has Labello Vitamin Shake, Fruity Shine and Soft Rose. All of three of them contain SPF 10 and provides UV protection. They are perfect for everyday use. Labello Fruity Shine can also be used at night to get that perfect diva look. The night collection has Pure and Natural Milk and Honey and Chamomile and Calendula. They provide perfect pampering to lips after a long day out in a harsh environment. One can sleep with it on and its a perfect lip spa. The fragrance is lovely. Makes me wan to eat it like candy. The best part is that it comes in easy to carry and apply roll tubes which means no digging your fingers in tiny balm
cups.

The creamy, protective and extra-smooth formula has made it my mainstream favorite. Yiiee for my go to balm :)

My most reached lipstick...my go to color...Alarm shade 170 by Rimmel London.
"Their description reads that its a shade that lasts up to 8 hours and its a color that turns heads!" indeed its the beauty equivalent of the little black dress.It instantly peps up my look and my mood. Its texture is smooth and creamy and comfortable for all day long wear. A must have shade for all the divas! ♥
